Your chartered goal
- Managing the development and maintenance of mobile applications throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Lead the (external) development team
- Define and guarantee high quality and performance standards
- Plan and document technical specifications for a clear development roadmap
- Design and configure applications to meet business and application requirements
- Build internal development capabilities where required
- Define standards for testable, scalable, and efficient code and conduct code reviews
- Mentor junior team members and promote industry best practices
- Stay abreast of relevant emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the software product
Your previous ports of call
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in leading software development projects, particularly mobile applications development and operations
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with various programming languages, frameworks and architectural designs relevant to mobile app development
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring and optimization techniques
- Experience in software development as well as in managing third-party developers and vendors
- Professional Proficiency in English and High Proficiency in German as well as confident handing of MS Office 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
