AIDA dances: Motsi Mabuse and the Let’s Dance stars live on board

Rostock, 04. July 2019

This year AIDA Cruises will once again be inviting its guests to dance as part of its themed cultural cruises. On AIDAbella’s Christmas and New Year cruise, guests will experience an exhilarating show program with Motsi Mabuse and her dance partners. AIDAdiva will set sail in September and her three-week voyage from Warnemünde to New York will see professional dancer Robert Beitsch leading guests onto the floating dance floor.

Exotic destinations and lively rhythms for Christmas and New Year

On December 23, 2019, AIDAbella will set out on an exotic cruise around Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Motsi Mabuse und Otlile “Oti” Mabuse will be live on board during the 14-day voyage through Southeast Asia. The two sisters will present dazzling show numbers with their dance partners and exclusive dance workshops, and will be seen on AIDA Prime Time as charming talk show guests.

Motsi Mabuse is known as a dancer and a judge on the RTL show “Let’s Dance.” The multiple German Champion in Latin American dance is also a choreographer, dance sport trainer and adjudicator for the German Dance Sport Federation (DTV), and trains some of the best tournament couples worldwide. Aboard AIDAbella, Motsi Mabuse will be performing with her husband and dance partner, Evgenij Voznyuk and with her sister Oti. Oti Mabuse is an eight-time South African champion in Latin American dance. She reached the semi-final of the World Cup Freestyle Latin championship, and the final of the European championship. She has been a TV star in the UK since taking part in “Strictly Come Dancing,” the British version of “Let’s Dance.”

Other highlights of the Christmas and New Year cruise with AIDAbella: best-selling author and top-class success coach Frank Wilde will prepare guests for a successful 2020. Guests will have a chance to observe a solar eclipse on December 26, 2019, in the company of astronomy expert Dr. Hartmut Renken, who will provide them with lots of inside knowledge about this unique phenomenon. A grand Christmas gala and a glittering New Year’s party with fireworks above the imposing skyline of Singapore will be turning this year’s festivities into an unforgettable experience.

AIDA dances from Warnemünde to New York

When AIDAdiva casts off in Warnemünde on her way to New York, guests will be welcomed to “AIDA dances” with professional dancer Robert Beitsch.
With performances and workshops for all levels of skill from beginner to advanced, the “Let’s Dance” dancers are the guarantee of great verve and entertainment. Guests will learn from the professionals, and then take to the dance floor themselves on the gala evening.

Other highlights of the cruise: Spiegel magazine editor and author Dieter Bednarz will be reading from his humorous novels about aging and being a parent. Guests will be entertained by top guest artists such as Manes Meckenstock, mentalist Harry Sher and the captivating music show with Terrel Woodbury. There will also be several gallery artists live on board: leading US artist Charles Fazzino, sculptor Susanne Kraißer, and jewelry designer Jutta Lutz.
