AIDAprima is the number 1 for families - Cruise Guide Awards presented in Hamburg
On Monday evening the cruise company AIDA Cruises received the award for family friendliness at the 9th Cruise Congress in Hamburg for their ship AIDAprima.
For the expert jury - consisting of 14 cruise specialists - AIDAprima is the best choice for German-speaking families: The ship scores with recreational areas such as the Beach Club and the Four Elements, where you can splash around in any weather. Family cabins offer the perfect accommodation for all holidaymakers. The jury's reasoning goes on to say: "When it comes to family entertainment, AIDA Cruises simply has the knack. From the Mini Club for babies six months and older to the Kids Club for 3 to 11-year-olds and the Wave Club for teens - all kids and teens have their own area on board.
During the winter season AIDAprima is positioned in the Orient. During the one-week cruise, destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Muscat are visited. The warm climate, the good flight accessibility as well as the rich contrast, which ranges from skylines and mega aquariums to deserts and dream beaches, make this destination the perfect time-out for families in winter.
From May 2020, AIDAprima will be heading from Kiel to the Baltic Sea coast and the Norwegian fjords, offering families a varied programme between Bullerby and the land of the trolls.
