Today (February 21, 2020), bookings open for the new AIDA Cruises catalog “HOME OF THE SMILE!” From March 2021 to April 2022, the ships in AIDA’s fleet will be taking guests to over 250 ports in 70 countries, on six continents.
Enjoy summer with AIDA
The wide variety of AIDA vacations in the summer of 2021 offers something for everyone.
A new addition: the AIDAcosma cruises departing from Kiel. After being put into service in May 2021, the ship will be alternately sailing to Norway and the Baltic Sea.
AIDAcara is sailing a new butterfly route in the eastern Mediterranean, departing from Heraklion (Crete). Program highlights include Istanbul and Athens. The second route goes to Cyprus, Haifa (Israel), Rhodes and the island of Kos, visited for the first time by an AIDA ship. The two 7-day cruises can also be combined. AIDAmira is heading for Greece and the Mediterranean islands Corfu, Malta and Sicily. Sun seekers can sail with AIDAnova and AIDAstella to the most beautiful cities in the western Mediterranean.
In addition to AIDAperla, which visits Norway’s fjords on 9- and 10-day cruises, AIDA guests can explore the popular Baltic Sea and Scandinavia routes again on board AIDAmar and AIDAdiva. With AIDAvita, the Baltic Sea’s skerry landscape can be discovered on ten diverse routes departing from Kiel and Warnemünde. The “Baltic Sea Cities” cruise with an overnight in Warnemünde during the Hanse Sail 2021 is a special highlight.
Sunny AIDA winter cruises
The AIDA winter cruises extend from city cruises in the Mediterranean to dream islands in the Caribbean, to the most beautiful destinations in the Middle East or Southeast Asia.
With the new ship, AIDAcosma, extraordinary landscapes and modern cities in the Middle East are on the program. Departing from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, guests can explore centuries-old traditions.
In October 2021, AIDAsol is going on its first world cruise. Guests can look forward to unusual locations, unforgettable moments and big emotions.
Those who’d like to avoid long flights will enjoy the “Big Winter Break” cruise with AIDAvita. This cruise takes guests from Hamburg to the Caribbean and back in 43 days. In 26 days, AIDAvita takes guests to the Canary Islands and back to Hamburg.
With AIDAaura and AIDAmira, guests have the opportunity to experience the natural wonders of southern Africa. A new addition to the route is Richards Bay with a coast that counts as one of the most pristine parts of the country. Miles of white beaches and numerous natural reserves draw guests from all over the world to the region.
The cultural treasures in Rome, Florence or Barcelona are a great experience during the winter months, without the peak-season crowds. AIDAstella and AIDAprima are sailing to these pearls of the Mediterranean from December 2021 to March 2022.
AIDAcara is heading for the sun in Asia and Australia in the winter. Departing from Singapore, AIDAcara offers cruises to Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong, and to the Philippines for the Selection program. AIDAbella is sailing to destinations in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
The winter program is topped off with cruises to the Canary Islands (with AIDAnova and AIDAmar), the Caribbean (with AIDAdiva, AIDAblu and AIDAperla), and to the Indian Ocean (with AIDAblu).
Beautiful prospects: Summer 2022
The new catalog presents a glimpse of summer 2022 with cruises to Iceland & Greenland, to the North Cape and the Lofoten, to Greece, and to beautiful Mediterranean islands. AIDA’s fifth world cruise is also revealed with the highlight destinations Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Papeete. World travelers can reserve their staterooms starting in spring 2020.
