AIDA Cruises presents the Prize-Winner’s Concert with Daniel Müller-Schott for the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
AIDA Cruises has supported the festival in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 2002 and ranks among the longest-standing sponsors of one of the largest classical festivals in Germany.
“Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the home of AIDA. That is why we care about the cultural sponsorship of this state in particular. Our long-term involvement has contributed to establishing this festival as one of the most important cultural events in Northern Germany and we look forward to seeing many national and international stars of classical music again this year,” AIDA’s sales manager Felix Eichhorn said.
This year AIDA Cruises is presenting one of the highlights of this festival season: The Prize-Winner’s Concert with Daniel Müller-Schott in Ulrichshusen. Accompanied by Christoph Eschenbach, the cellist and prize-winner in residence 2008 will play chamber music by Beethoven, Schubert and Schumann. The duo recital concert takes place at 6 p.m. on July 4, 2015, in the Rittersaal.
Daniel Müller-Schott already performed memorable concerts in 2012 for AIDAstella’s maiden voyage, transforming the Theatrium of the cruise line into a swimming concert hall.
