AIDA Cruises in a double pack

On Saturday evening (June 2, 2018), the visitors of Rostock-Warnemünde were treated with an impressive sight in the fabulous summer weather: The cruise ships AIDAmar and AIDAbella set sail together from Rostock-Warnemünde at 8.00 p.m.
For the guests aboard AIDAmar, the lines were cast off for a seven-day Baltic round trip. AIDAbella, also on a week-long cruise through the Baltic, set a course for Kiel where the trip ended on Sunday for some 2,300 guests.
This little AIDA sailing parade gave a foretaste of the Rostock Cruise Festival, which will celebrate its premiere in the year of the 800th anniversary of the Hanseatic city from September 14 to 16, 2018. AIDA Cruises is a premium partner of the event, which in future will take place every two years in Rostock.

AIDAprima – First containers on their way to Japan
The new cruise ship AIDAprima is currently getting the basic equipment for its operation. The first containers departed the Hamburg port for Nagasaki on the freighter “Antwerpen Express” on June 3, 2015. The 31 containers are carrying equipment for the hotel and technical areas. ... [more]
